Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer role for a full-time on-site located in Cairo, Egypt. As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining and optimizing the developed software applications. You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining software applications. You will also participate in design and architecture sessions with Senior Software Engineers and update project managers regularly with status updates.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain software and Web Applications
• Test and deploy software and systems
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade developed software
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Create user and technical documentation for the developed software.
• Stay updated on industry emerging technologies to continuously improve your skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field.
• Working experience as a Web Developer for at least 1 years.
• In-depth proficiency in one of following frameworks: Angular, Node.js, or React.
• Proficient in Web programming using Python, Django, and JavaScript.
• Familiar with database management systems and SQL.
• Experience with software development and CI/CD in a test-driven environment such as Unittest, Git/GitHub, and Docker frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with AI, ML, and DS is a plus.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team and deliver your tasks efficiently and on time.
